Dear fellow Lions, Lionesses, and Leos,
As we begin our new Lionistic year together, I thank you for the honor of serving as District Governor for 2025-2026. I am grateful for your support and confidence in me. Our journey through this next year will be both exciting and challenging, and I truly believe that, serving together, we will be able to make our year a successful one.
Our International President, A.P. Singh from Kolkata, India, has chosen “Serve to Lead, Lead to Serve” as his intentional message and theme for this year. As Lions, we have all chosen to serve: in our communities, our clubs, our projects and our organization. Isn’t it time to renew ourselves to our service? Will you step up and take the lead this year? Maybe there’s a project that would grow with your passion. Perhaps your club would grow its membership with your commitment to lead? Let this be the year we challenge ourselves to serve and lead with a new focus and determination. Let’s invite others to join us in our Lions journey. More hands means more service! Inspire others to enjoy the friendship and community that we share when we serve together.

There are lots of people counting on us. You’ve heard it before: “Where there’s a need, there’s a Lion!”. Let’s get ready to serve those who need us. I look forward to visiting the clubs of 16N. I will learn more about what you do and offer my assistance where needed. Here’s to an exciting year ahead! I hope to see you all this year at our District meetings.
